This hit series brings fact and fiction together as bestselling writer Simon Toyne meets other top crime authors to discuss how their works of fiction have been inspired by the UK’s darkest real life crimes.

In this finale episode Simon Toyne travels North to investigate one of the most chilling folie a deux partnership of all time.

Joined by Howard Linskey, author of The Search, they investigate the crimes committed by Ian Brady and Myra Hindley, which resolved in the death of five children and the ongoing hunt for their bodies.

Written In Blood concludes Sunday 5th November at 10pm.

Sixteen-year-old school girl Leanne Tiernan was abducted whilst walking home from a Christmas shopping trip on the 26th November 2000, around 5pm. She was walking alone through Houghley Gill, an isolated and unlit path.
