New On Air Look For CBS Reality
By James, Tuesday 9th April 2013

CBS Chello Zone Channels UK are launching a new on air look for all channels in its entertainment portfolio - CBS Reality, CBS Drama, CBS Action and the Horror Channel - featuring sleek cutting edge idents that reinforce the distinctive identity of each channel.

Chris Sharp, Chief Programming Officer for CBS Chello Zone Channels Partnership said: "We are enhancing the on air look with a series of new channel identities. By introducing more 3D elements, colour gradients and combining them with CGI and live action, we have created a series of channel identities with high production values that stand out in a crowded market place. Television channel identities are constantly evolving and we believe these new identities coupled with strong CBS programming content give us a great platform to enhance the viewer experience, from which we can continue to build and attract new audiences. The new look of the channels and the investment in quality content are the latest examples of the positive developments to come from this successful partnership."

The refreshed CBS Reality identity has two complementary themes in keeping with the rich diversity of programming on the channel. The first setting is a forensics lab depicting cause and effect, as a series of events have a domino effect with some fascinating and unexpected outcomes. In the same lab, a microscope reveals a second theme. CBS Reality is a celebration of what it is to be human - so the idents pair some interesting characters. A cop and a prisoner, a nurse and a lifeguard and a fireman and fire-eater interact under the watchful eye of scientists.

Do let us know what you think when you see these.
